The Prophet and Baptist of the Lord is one of the most revered saints in the Orthodox Church. People turn to John the Baptist, whose prayer always very quickly reaches the ears of God, in various everyday troubles. However, especially often, his help is sought by pilgrims suffering from headaches and mental illnesses.

Nativity of a Saint

We can only learn about life from the Gospel text. The holy saint of God was born at the beginning of the first century AD into a pious Christian family. His parents were the righteous Zechariah and Elizabeth. The birth of the great New Testament prophet was foreshadowed by one miraculous event.

The priest Zacharias was already in old age when during the service he condescended to announce the imminent appearance of his son. The father of the future preacher of Christ strongly doubted the words of the heavenly messenger. For this, the Lord punished him with muteness.

Soon, Elizabeth was actually able to conceive a son. When the woman was already in the last months of pregnancy, her house was visited by the Most Holy Virgin Herself, who was her distant relative. This meeting was described in detail by the evangelist Luke.

According to the latter’s testimony, Elizabeth’s baby, having heard only the greeting of the Mother of God, “jumped joyfully in his womb.”

Naming

Elizabeth's son was born six months earlier than the Savior. On the eighth day, following the instructions of Jewish law, the parents took the baby to where he was to be named. Elizabeth, following the command of the Spirit of God, named her firstborn son John. The relatives present in the temple were surprised, since no one in their family had ever had such a name. However, the father who was nearby, picked up a wooden tablet and wrote the word “John” on it. At that same moment, Zechariah regained the power of speech and began to praise the merciful Lord. The holy prophet announced to all those gathered in the temple about the imminent coming of the Messiah to the world. John the Baptist himself will be entrusted with proclaiming the appearance of the Savior. The prayer of a righteous man can lead many people to heartfelt repentance and confession of their sins.

On that very day, news of the miraculous birth of a baby spread throughout Hebron. Many residents believed that little John was the future ruler of the Jewish people.

And joy was finally able to settle in the home of the baby’s parents. At that time, families who could not have children were despised by people. The Jews believed that dishonor flourished in their homes, for which the Lord certainly punished them with childlessness.

Death of Zechariah

But very soon Zechariah and Elizabeth had to endure a new test. King Herod, who ruled Judea at that time, having learned from the wise men who came to him about the birth of the long-awaited Messiah, ordered the killing of all recently born babies. The groans and cries of the unhappy mothers were able to reach the house of little John. To save her only child from cruel reprisals, Elizabeth hastened to take refuge in the Hebron mountains. Zechariah remained in the city and continued to perform services. When Herod's servants reached Hebron, the first thing they did was look into the Jerusalem Temple. Seeing Zechariah, they began to demand that he give up his son’s hiding place. But the holy righteous man only meekly said that he was not afraid of death at the hands of the wicked. The latter, having heard such an answer, immediately killed the Forerunner’s parent. Zechariah fell between the altar and the altar, and his blood turned to stone as an eternal reminder of the crime committed by Herod.

Escape to the Hebron Mountains

The warriors, leaving the body of the holy prophet in the temple, hastened to search for the remaining members of his family. Very soon they discovered righteous Elizabeth with her baby near one of the mountains. The saint, seeing the murderers of her husband, according to Church Tradition, cried out to the mountain for help, and she, parting, hid her and John from the eyes of the soldiers. Forty days after the death of the holy prophet, Elizabeth herself reposed. But God’s mercy this time was shown to little John the Baptist, whose prayer in the near future was to lead to the salvation of the Jews. The baby's father and mother were replaced by an angel of the Lord, who brought him drink and water every day.

Baptism of the Savior

The first time the prophet John appeared to people in the desert. His appearance was a real event for the Jewish people. The holy saint of God announced to people about the imminent coming of Christ, before which each mortal had to certainly bear the fruits of sincere repentance. His sermon was so deep and sincere that people from different parts of the country came to listen to it. Listening to the fervent speeches of the prophet of God, filled with the grace of the Holy Spirit, they discovered more and more new sins in themselves, which they immediately hastened to confess before the Forerunner. Finally, the time came to come to him and the Savior Himself, Who, like other people, chose a holy righteous man as His Baptist.

Execution of the Prophet

John was always a true zealot for the piety of Christ and never bowed down even to the mighty of this world. Having learned that the young ruler of the country, Herod, was illegally cohabiting with Herodias, the wife of his brother, he immediately hastened to expose him in front of all the people. Filled with rage, the wife decided to destroy the saint of God, whom even the king himself feared, at any cost. To do this, she sent her daughter Salome to one of the festivals organized by Herod. The latter performed a dance in front of the ruler, which pleased him very much. Herod promised to fulfill any of her requests, and the girl immediately announced her mother’s bloody desire. The upset king ordered John the Baptist to be beheaded.

The body of the prophet was buried by his disciples. Subsequently, the head of the saint appeared to the pilgrims three times. Prayer to John the Baptist at one time helped to protect many shrines from destruction, including the relics of the saint of God himself. During the persecution of the Church of Christ, the head of the prophet miraculously disappeared and then appeared again, thus avoiding reproach from wicked hands.

Prayer to John the Baptist for headaches

During his lifetime, the holy righteous man repeatedly showed his help to people. However, even after death, the Baptist of the Lord continues to participate in the arrangement of many human destinies. Perhaps none of the saints, except the Mother of God, stands as close to the Lord as Saint John the Baptist. His prayer helps to get rid of many bodily ailments. People suffering from frequent, incessant migraines first of all try to turn to the saint of God. More than a thousand testimonies have already been collected about the miraculous intercession of the Baptist of the Lord.

A prayer to John the Baptist for headaches once helped a twenty-year-old parishioner of the Moscow stauropegial St. John the Baptist Monastery to get rid of constant migraines. Another, even more miraculous event occurred in the same monastery in 2002. One woman was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She was facing a very difficult operation. Then the patient, still far from faith, came to the locally revered image of the saint. After prayers at the icon of the Baptist, she was examined again. No tumor was found. The doctors just shrugged their shoulders in bewilderment.

Prayer for spiritual illnesses

However, people resort to the saint not only during bodily illnesses. Prayer to John the Baptist to calm the soul is the surest remedy for sudden despondency and anxiety.

One woman, who was baptized at a late age, dreamed of bringing her children to the temple. Her daughter was able to find faith quite soon. But the son stubbornly refused to go to church. Then the woman, desperate to change anything, went to her confessor for help. The latter, after listening to her, advised her to turn to John the Baptist every day. The prayer of the holy saint soon helped bring his son into the walls of the temple. The young man found faith and was baptized.

The holy saint of the Lord always hastens to respond to any prayer request. But people who turn to him for help need to remember what God’s prophet first taught during his lifetime. Saint John appealed first of all to repentance. After all, only through the sacrament of confession can an Orthodox Christian unite with the Lord and become a true member of Christ’s church.

The beginning of the Gospel narratives about the ministry of Jesus Christ is inextricably linked with the prophetic ministry of John the Baptist. Prayer was one of his main activities. Gathering his disciples around him, he preached the imminent appearance of the expected Messiah in Israel.

About John

The Jews had great respect for the prophets and recognized their authority. A whole community of followers soon gathered around John. They fasted and said special prayers. John the Baptist ended his ministry because the words of the prophet were displeasing to the ruling elite. According to the gospel narratives, they did not dare to execute him for a long time, fearing outrage among the people. But he was still deprived of his head because he denounced the king for violating the laws of Moses (their observance was mandatory for the Jews).

The very birth of John the Baptist is miraculous. His father was a priest and was praying in the Temple when he was honored with a visit from an Angel. A childless couple was promised a son who would become great. When Zechariah doubted, the power of speech was taken away from him.

Relationship with Jesus

It was John the Baptist who first began to baptize. Christ had not yet begun to preach; this stage of His life began precisely from the moment of baptism. He receives several testimonies from God the Father at once, and John also confesses him as the Messiah. That is why he is called the Baptist of the Lord.

Little is known about him before he met Jesus. True, the receipt of the prophetic gift is attested by the evangelists even before birth. Being in his mother’s womb, John the Baptist jumped joyfully, feeling the approach of Mary, the future mother of Christ. Traditionally, he is considered to be related to Him, and is even depicted in icons of the Holy Family along with Joseph, Mary and the Child.

It is difficult to say how often Christ and John the Baptist saw each other before the events described in the Gospels. But his importance as a participant in the mission of Christ is obvious.

Veneration of a saint

In Orthodoxy he is revered so highly that his name comes in prayer petitions immediately after the Mother of God. Prayers to John the Baptist were compiled by Andrew of Crete and John of Damascus - famous holy ascetics. The holy fathers of Orthodoxy especially value the asceticism for which John became famous. It is believed that he was accustomed to fasting and prayer from childhood.

How does prayer help?

Look mercifully at these people standing before Thy holy icon, fervently praying to You, and through Thy intercession and intercession with Thy Son and our God, may no one depart from the place of this hope of theirs, empty and disgraced in their hope; but let everyone receive from You everything according to the good will of his heart, according to his need and desire, for the salvation of the soul and the health of the body. Most of all, protect the autumn with Your protection, Merciful Mother, the most pious future Sovereign of our Emperor and his entire reigning house; Drive away from Him through Your prayers every enemy and adversary, establish his life in peace and silence, so that we may all live a quiet and silent life in all goodness, piety and purity; keep His kingdom so that it may become the Kingdom of Christ; direct His paths and counsels, so that truth and abundance of peace may shine in His days, may His heart and those in His power rejoice, like the heart of a father who rejoices over his children; but those who were resistant and evil in their hearts began to tremble before His face, so that they would come to their senses through fear and cease from their wickedness and resistance, doing His will, as before God, from a good soul and conscience. Pray, Merciful Lady, to the most heavenly God, that he may always keep his holy church, strengthen our Orthodox bishops with his highest blessing, protect with peace the saints of his church whole, healthy, honest, long-lasting, and grant the right of those who rule the word of his truth, from all visible and invisible He will mercifully deliver enemies with all Orthodox Christians and in Orthodoxy and the firmament of faith until the end of the ages he will infallibly and unfailingly preserve. Look with mercy, O All-Singing One, and with charity; Your merciful intercession for our entire All-Russian kingdom, our reigning cities, this city and this holy temple - and pour out your rich mercy on her, for you are the all-powerful Helper and Intercessor of us all. Bow down to the prayers of all Your servants who flow here to this holy icon of Yours, hear the sighs and voices with which Your servants pray in this holy temple. If both a non-believer and a foreigner, walking and passing here, pray, hear, O beloved Lady, and do this kindly and mercifully, even to help him and to salvation. Guide your hardened and scattered hearts in our countries on the path of truth. Convert those who have fallen away from the pious faith and bring them back into rank with Thy saints, the Orthodox Catholic Church. In the families of all people and in our brethren, protect and maintain peace, establish brotherhood and humility in the young, support old age, instruct adolescence, gain courage, stand up for the orphans and widows, the oppressed and in their sorrows, comfort and protect, raise babies, heal the sick, captives free us, protecting us from all evil with Your goodness and comforting with Your merciful visit and all those who do us good. Grant, O Good One, the fruitful earth, the goodness of the air, and all the gifts that are timely and beneficial for our benefit, through your omnipotent intercession before the All-Holy Life-Giving Trinity, together with Her holy chosen saints Cyril and Methodius. Our fathers and mothers, our brothers and sisters, who have departed before, and all those who from ancient years have fallen upon Thy holy icon, have given rest to these saints, in a brighter place, in a greener place, in a place of peace, where there is no sorrow and sighing. When our departure from this life and transition to eternal life is ripe, appear to us, Most Blessed Virgin, and grant the Christian death of our life painless, shameless, peaceful and partaker of the Holy Mysteries, so that in the future we will all be worthy, together with all the saints, endless blessed life in the kingdom of Your beloved Son, our Lord and God Jesus Christ, to Him belongs glory, honor and power, with His Beginning Father and His Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen.

The prayer to John the Baptist the Baptist is one of the greatest in Orthodoxy. It contains love for the Lord and righteous faith, which give strength and hope to every Christian. She is filled with repentance and humility, which lead a person to repentance and God's forgiveness.

Prayer to the Prophet John the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord

Prayer to the saint has truly enormous power, and everyone who turns to it finds long-awaited help and finds peace. Her story is great and tragic at the same time. John the Baptist was one of the closest predecessors of Christ, who predicted the coming of the Messiah. For a long time, the martyr lived in the desert, completely devoting himself to God, leading an ascetic lifestyle and finding true happiness in prayers to the Lord.

John became one of the main symbols of Christianity. Being quite famous for his sermons, he performed sacred immersions in water (ablutions), which are designed to cleanse the body and soul of a person from sins and grant a person repentance. This church rite has survived practically unchanged to this day under the name “sacrament of baptism” and has become one of the most revered and performed.

After all, every Orthodox person goes through it in order to get closer to God and receive invisible protection from him throughout his life.

The life of the Baptist himself had a tragic end - he was beheaded on the orders of the Jewish queen and her daughter. The truncated head of John became an honest symbol of Orthodoxy and also had its own complex and interesting history:

  • The pious Joanna was the first to find her and, putting her in a vessel, buried her on the Mount of Olives;
  • Then it fell into the hands of one of the ascetics, who found it while digging a ditch to lay the foundation of the temple. He kept the relic until his death, but then, fearing the destruction of the shrine by non-believers, he hid it in the same place;
  • During the reign of Constantine, the Baptist himself appeared to one of the monks who came to Jerusalem to worship the Holy Sepulcher and pointed out the location of its head.

It was this period that became key in the history of Orthodoxy, for it marked the beginning of the celebration by Christians all over the world of the First Finding of the Head of John the Baptist.

Prayer to John the Baptist for headaches

Very often people turn to the prophet in order to relieve the physical pain that comes from the head, for he suffered torment and became a shrine that can heal the body and calm the soul. Even the image of John, which is presented on the holy faces in the form of the head of a suffering person, symbolizes an appeal with a request to relieve a headache.

They also come to him in order to find their own repentance, understand their thoughts and sort them out, because mental peace and physical healing give harmony, and it opens up the world in a new way, changing a person for the better. The ancestors revered him for his invaluable help in preserving the human race and economic affairs (crops, fertility, apiary).

John the Baptist is a prophet who has been glorified by the Church and people throughout the centuries. His righteousness is in honesty, and this, as we know, is the sure path to righteous faith and eternal grace.

Prayers to the Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John:

Prayer 1

To the Baptist of Christ, preacher of repentance, do not despise me who repents, but copulating with the heavenly ones, pray to the Lady for me, unworthy, sad, weak and sad, fallen into many troubles, burdened by the stormy thoughts of my mind: for I am a den of evil deeds, by no means have an end to the sinful custom, for my mind is nailed down by earthly things: what I will do, I do not know.

And to whom shall I resort, that my soul may be saved? Only to you, Saint John, give the same name of grace, for you are before the Lord through the Mother of God greater than all who were born, for you were honored to touch the top of the King Christ, who takes away the sins of the world, the Lamb of God.

Pray to him for my sinful soul, so that from now on, at the first ten hour, I will bear a good burden and accept recompense with the last. To her, the Baptist of Christ, the honest Forerunner, the extreme Prophet, the first martyr in grace, the teacher of fasters and hermits, the teacher of purity and the close friend of Christ, I pray to you, I come running to you: do not reject me from your intercession, but raise me up, having fallen into many sins; renew my soul with repentance, as with the second baptism, of which you are the ruler: with baptism wash away the original sin, and with repentance cleanse every bad deed; Cleanse me with the sins of the defiled and force me to enter, even if nothing bad enters, into the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen.

Prayer 2

Holy Forerunner and Baptist of Christ John! This preacher of repentance, do not despise us who repent, but pray to the Lord Christ for us, unworthy slaves, sad, weak, fallen into many sins. We fear death, but we are not sick of our sins and we do not care about the Kingdom of Heaven: but do not despise us, the Baptist of Christ, honorable Forerunner, born in pain of all, mentor of fasters and hermits, teacher of purity and neighbor of Christ.

We pray to you, we resort to you: do not reject us who ask for your intercession, renew our souls with repentance, which is the second baptism: by your intercession before the Lord, ask for the cleansing of our sins. Unworthy lips cry out to you, and a humble soul prays, a contrite heart sighs from the depths: stretch out your most pure right hand and protect us from enemies visible and invisible.

Hey, Lord Jesus Christ! Through the prayers of St. John Thy Baptist, and even more so of Thy Most Pure Mother, our Lady Theotokos, save us, Thy sinful servants who repent of our sins. For You are the God of the repentant, and in You, the Savior, we place our hope, glorifying Your Most Holy Name, with Your Originless Father, and with Your Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.

The Lord is always with you!

Orthodox help from prayer for peace of mind

Many, even modern people, complain that they lack peace of mind in life. This happens because we devote little time to our spiritual improvement, and too much time to the pursuit of success. The word “success” comes from “to have time,” that is, we have no time to stop and pray, we are in a hurry to be no worse than everyone else in the modern understanding of these words. If this continues for a long time, then apathy, loss of strength, and despondency set in.

Prayer will help restore peace of mind. Try to find at least five minutes for daily morning and evening prayer, and notice how calmness gradually returns to you. You can also pray on the way to work or home from work. You can learn a few simple short prayers to find peace of mind, and repeat them to yourself.

Orthodox prayer to calm the soul

There is a very strong Orthodox prayer to calm the soul - the prayer of the Optina elders. It begins with wonderful words: “Lord, let me meet with peace of mind everything that the coming day will bring me.” These words are so simple, but if you think about it, they have a very deep meaning. After all, how often do we lack patience, humility, the ability to “let go” of the situation, to take a break. Next in the prayer are requests to God for hourly support, for wisdom in communicating with all family members. In this prayer for peace, we ask the Lord for strength to endure everyday work, love, the ability to forgive, faith and hope.

The Orthodox prayer of the Optina elders is included in the collection of morning prayers, which you can find in any Orthodox prayer book. Among the miraculous prayers for peace of mind is the prayer of St. John Chrysostom, “Grant, O Lord, to my unworthiness the grace of understanding.”

A powerful prayer for peace of mind for a troubled person

There is another prayer for calm, which does not belong to Orthodox prayers, but its words do not at all contradict Orthodox dogma. The supposed author of this prayer is the American priest Reinhold Niebuhr. In it, we first of all ask God for wisdom, because only a wise person can find peace of mind. Reinhold Nibuhl's prayer is known throughout the world and is included in the Catholic prayer books of American military chaplains.

Strong prayer for peace of mind - Orthodox text

God, give me reason and peace of mind to accept what I cannot change. Courage to change what I can. And the wisdom to distinguish one from the other.

Orthodox text of the prayer of the Optina elders for peace at the beginning of the day

Lord, let me meet with peace of mind everything that the coming day will bring me. Let me completely surrender to Your holy will. For every hour of this day, instruct and support me in everything. Whatever news I receive during the day, teach me to accept it with a calm soul and a firm conviction that everything is Your holy will. In all my words and deeds, guide my thoughts and feelings. In all unforeseen cases, do not let me forget that everything was sent down by You. Teach me to act directly and wisely with each member of my family, without confusing or upsetting anyone. Lord, give me strength to endure the fatigue of the coming day and all the events during the day. Guide my will and teach me to pray, believe, hope, endure, forgive and love. Amen.

Lord Jesus Christ, drive away from me all inappropriate thoughts! Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am weak. For You are my God, keep my mind, so that unclean thoughts do not overcome it, but in You, my Creator, let it delight, for Your Name is great for those who love You.

I have a problem with sadness, and this helped a little. Thanks a lot!

A powerful prayer to calm the soul

In the life of every person, moments of mental impotence, a certain hopelessness and, as a result, despondency periodically occur. There are many ways to help deal with such situations. Someone goes to specialists and starts taking antidepressants. Some resort to alternative medicine, treating illness with herbal remedies and herbs. Some turn to fortune tellers, clairvoyants and try to introduce sinfulness into their lives. After all, prayer to calm the soul must be from a pure heart. Sometimes people do not know what they are doing, because in moments of weakening they are controlled by dark forces. Another way to combat depression is meditation. It allows a person to go beyond the mind and know the truth from the outside. In addition, there are various yoga practices that are aimed specifically at combating stress. Relaxation is perhaps the most harmless way to resist despondency and nervous conditions. It is recommended by many experts as the most effective method. But the main thing a believer can count on is prayer.

Depression and stress: how to cope?

Our family and friends are often our support in difficult situations. We sometimes succumb to persuasion during conversations and begin to believe in our strengths and in the best. Sometimes such methods do not help, since human nature is still not fully understood. Some people quickly get out of a negative state, others don’t. Everyone should have a winning mindset. Here the sacred words of prayer come to the rescue. It means mental sendings of requests and thanks to the Lord. This is a kind of appeal to the Almighty to overcome both bad and good in human life. Prayer to calm the soul and heart, to overcome stress and depression has always been, is and will be offered to God.

Types of prayers

According to their content and content, prayers are divided into the following types:

  • Prayers for repentance are among the most important; during their pronunciation, a believer asks God to forgive his sins, bad deeds, and evil thoughts. Any communication to the Almighty should begin with this.
  • Petitionary prayers exist to ask God for health, prosperity, patience, spiritual strength, etc.
  • Prayers of thanksgiving help us remember God and what he means to people. You need to say “thank you” for everything: faith, health, food, prosperity and much more.
  • Prayers of praise glorify God himself, his greatness. Many elders say that such an appeal is the most sublime, powerful and frank.
  • Intercessory prayers involve believers asking God for their loved ones, living or deceased.

Prayers to various saints

Traditionally, Orthodox Christians pray to saints for various everyday needs. Now in churches you can find many prayer books, in which, with the blessing of the Russian Orthodox Church, akathists and appeals to various saints are printed. A prayer to calm the soul can be addressed to some saints of God. They ask for us, and the Lord hears their requests. Saints pray for sinful people, to whom the Lord does not always answer their petitions. Each saint of God is distinguished by his grace, for the sake of which people resort to them for help. For example, women who have become happy mothers pray to the Most Holy Theotokos. Saint Panteleimon helps with illnesses and illnesses. And how many miracles does St. Nicholas the Wonderworker perform? The main one of all is “Our Father”, then – “Creed”, to the Mother of God, Guardian Angel, Optina elders, Heavenly King, etc. Let us give examples of prayers.

Appeal to the Holy Trinity: “Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere and fulfills everything, Treasure of good things and Giver of life, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save, O Good One, our souls.”

The prayer to the Mother of God is as follows: “Virgin Mother of God, Rejoice, Gracious Mary, the Lord is with You; Blessed are You among women and blessed is the Fruit of Your womb, for You have given birth to the Savior of our souls.”

Prayer to John the Baptist to calm the soul

The Prophet John the Baptist is famous for his prayer for people with spiritual wounds. The Forerunner always rushed to help anyone in need. During his lifetime, the prophet taught righteousness and repentance. The sacrament of confession and the Eucharist are the main attributes of believers. With their help, a person unites with the Lord and remains in him. The main task of those in need is the sincerity with which it is necessary to turn to the saint. He will definitely help!

Prayers for the departed

When loved ones leave this world, they remain in the hearts of the living. The most important and important thing that can be done for the dead is to keep them in memory. In addition, in Orthodox churches you can submit special notes with the names of both the living and the deceased. During the service, the priest reads them and prays for everyone written in the prayers. You can also light a candle for the deceased on the eve. This is a special candlestick in the form of a table, in the center of which there is a crucifix. A prayer to calm the soul of the deceased is usually written within sight. You can always come up and read the written words, and also light a candle.

Why is prayer needed?

There are several major religions in our world. Every person who has chosen one religion or another wonders about prayer. If it is performed regularly and with a deep spiritual connection, then the person becomes happier and healthier. Moreover, prayer is the first thing that people will be called to account on the Day of Judgment. Our Lord, the Most High, will ask the angels to look at the prayer of the believer. Whatever it is, so God will do with this person. The main thing is that prayer should have sincerity and sincerity, it comes from the heart!

How should you ask?

Every world religion has its own rules and canons. The difference between them is huge. But the similarities that unite all people are also important. Faith, as an internal quality, is the same. A churchgoer always hopes for the best and asks God for it. A representative of any religion does this with bated breath during prayer. Standing in front of icons and bowing, a person only outwardly shows his feelings. These are simply the attributes of prayer. The main thing in it is reverence and devotion to God. Therefore, prayer to calm the soul in all religions is based on the same principle. The presence of it in the life of a believer means that he is spiritually alive. In other cases, the person is dead.

Muslim prayers to calm the soul

Note that most world religions deny the existence of others. For example, Islam, the founder of which is the prophet Muhammad, who lived in Mecca. He received the instructions written in the Holy Qur'an from God and conveyed them to people. This is the main book of Muslims. The essence of Muhammad's teaching is that he denies everyone except Allah. Every Muslim honors this and is always zealous in refuting revelations.

A grace-filled state of spirit has the best effect on the well-being of a believer. Prayer helps everyone with this to calm the soul. Islam teaches mercy, kindness, responsiveness, and patience. All these qualities are achievable only through our asking God for them. Strong prayer has always been a consequence of asking for it. In addition to petition, reading the Holy Quran helps a Muslim. It should be noted that in Islam, prayer must be read in a certain way: one hundred times 4 verses of the sura “You are on the straight path” after prayer, in the morning. There is a legend that Allah will call the one who reads this combination his beloved slave in this and the next world. Prayers can not only be read, but also listened to. This will not change your state of mind.
