What does a person's fate depend on? What is human destiny? What is destiny?

A person, while hunting, catches for himself, for example, fish for food or for sale. What is God Himself planning? As it is easy to guess, God provides for our immortal, corrected souls.

God's providence does not limit human freedom

God's providence is, in modern language, to create for a person during his earthly life such a program in which a person will be forced to constantly improve and come to God on his own, realizing that this is his salvation.

From the day of his birth on earth, a person feels uncomfortable, or unhappy, or disadvantaged, and therefore the goal of his life is always to gain good, happiness, an internal feeling of satisfaction with what is happening. Since man is a rather stupid and unreasonable creature, for some reason he chooses a difficult path to achieve this simple goal, guided by the herd-sheep instinct: “Everyone does this.”

What is easier to achieve spiritual peace: start accumulating wealth, build yourself an expensive house, buy an expensive car and accumulate a huge fortune, all the while fighting to preserve your capital, fighting off tax authorities and simply bandits who want to take someone else’s property into their own hands, or limit their own needs with ordinary average requirements for life's goods?

For some reason modern man still believes that wealth is good. Although it is clearly visible that no material wealth peace of mind and they don’t bring happiness, but rather, on the contrary, they bring continuous problems. But a person, out of greed and pride, because in society it is generally accepted that rich means respected, decides to get involved in the struggle for wealth, while forgetting both sleep and food. And, of course, he never achieves happiness.

God sees this and does not interfere with it, because He knows what must be given to man, how small child, play enough with your own company, power, honor and respect. And when a person finally understands the stupidity of what he has done, God, through his providence, will try to bring him closer to the right path to achieve goodness.

Between faith and religious fanaticism

It is possible that a person will again come up with a long and ineffective way to acquire good, for example, he will become involved in religion, start going to church, believe in an idol god, to whom he needs to pray furiously both night and day, and then he will give happiness in return for endless prayers . You cannot look at a person in such love of God without tears: a true champion of the faith opposes himself to all non-believers and, according to his concepts, living people who live incorrectly. Such a person, getting a job, says: “Look, I’m a believer.” Thus, demanding a special attitude towards oneself as a foreign, alien body.

The most offensive thing about such believers is that they really believe that they will be saved, and everyone else will die or go to hell. It turns out not at all Christian, they will run away to Heaven themselves, like rats, and you, everyone else, will go to Hell for eternal torment. The awareness of their righteousness and specialness leads these believers to a tragic outcome. The church knows and for some reason doesn’t talk much about this phenomenon, to which almost everyone is susceptible. neophytes (this is the name given to the laity who have come to the faith again).

This is a terrible phenomenon and consists in the fact that for such a stupid faith, when a person goes to church for a long time, attends all services approximately, pays tithes regularly (and so on for ten years), God “punishes” him with the death of loved ones or a terrible illness, or other misfortunes , for example, loss of a job, business, etc. This is the result! Why do we need such faith? The clergy explain this by saying that, after a certain period, God wants to test whether a person is strong in faith. True, they forget that God already knows and sees, without testing, how perfect a person’s inner world is. He is God, not a man.

Attributing human properties to God was necessary for poorly educated people to begin to introduce them to faith and understanding of the universe. Then expressions like “God was angry, struck, deprived, punished…” appeared. God does not test, He already sees everything through and through. In the case of neophytes, God puts them again in the conditions of the original state of grief and misfortune, because these “believers” became proud and began to consider themselves righteous, and rose above other people, considering themselves exceptional, especially pleasing to God and demanding special honors for this. In Church Tradition this state is called falling into delusion , or opinion.

How dangerous is the state of beauty?

In fact, the culprit for the fall of a person who believes into delusion is, of course, the evil one, who keeps whispering strongly and unreasonably to a believing Christian that God highly values his feat and faith.

In addition, demons can appear to a believer in a dream and in reality in the form of angels and saints and fool a person if he is subject to conceit and is led to their tricks. In this case, the Heavenly Forces have no choice but to lower the presumptuous believer from heaven to earth.

Choosing a path

God's providence is to make man normal and good, i.e. suitable for further education in the next class of the universal school after earth.People are saddened when they realize that they do not live individually, but as a herd, according to pre-prescribed scenarios for them, with a pre-prescribed fate and a series of trials, for example, a war or a flood, or a crashed plane. It has been noticed that those who are not destined to crash on a plane according to the scenario and for whom God has not prepared this fate are late for the plane, or one in a hundred survives the crash, or something else happens according to the Will of God, but the person remains alive. What was conceived is similar to a computer game, where a person himself chooses turns and directions, and then everything goes according to the scenario of the person who invented the game.

Your task is to choose the right path and not try to become a Rockefeller, and then on the correctly chosen - less problematic path - commit fewer sins and thus score fewer penalty points. In addition, this game also counts positive points for good and correct deeds that you do without any calculation or intent, but simply because you cannot do otherwise. Good-looking actions for which you expect to receive benefits and rewards, that is, not selfish, do not bring positive points in this game. If you lent money to a friend and thought that later he would loan you money, you have zero positive points. But if you borrowed and forgot to pick it up, or thought that it was harder for him than for you, and did not remind him of the debt, it means that you have become closer to God, even if only by three rubles.

Fortune tellers do not help, but harm!

Now, probably, the answer to the innermost question becomes more clear: why can’t you go to fortune-tellers and good grandmothers, who with their spells really help and cure some diseases?Imagine six billion people for whom it is necessary to write and select a test program, taking into account the ongoing changes and trends. And such a program was written for their life path (with different free choice options). But then some psychic appears who, in order to earn money through criminal gain, using the abilities that Satan clearly gave him, begins to interfere in a person’s future. Firstly, he acts at the suggestion of demons, and secondly, the one who asks for help becomes an accomplice and enters into communication with dark forces. Sooner or later you will have to pay for it. Thirdly, man departs from God and His good plan.

How to come to terms with the death of babies?

The most active opponents of the existing world order often accuse God of cruelty. They are especially not allowed to sleep peacefully when a baby dies. It seems that you are still completely sinless - and you feel such grief. Why doesn't God stop this?

The question is not an easy one, we can only assume some options. Perhaps, when the baby was still in the mother’s womb, the situation according to the scenario of the lives of the people around him was the same, but in nine months everything could change. The actions of parents or relatives inevitably influenced the future of the child, and life for this baby became meaningless. Moreover, the death of an infant can dramatically affect the life of the parents. Perhaps the grief they experienced or the awareness of their sinfulness will lead them to faith. And no one knows what could have awaited this child in the future if he had been born? Maybe God saved him from disaster.

The site predanie.ru provides an interesting fantastic observation: aliens of approximately our level of development have arrived on planet Earth and are monitoring the hospital. After examining some patients, the doctor sends them to a resort, while others put them on the table and cut them with a knife. It’s hard to understand right away and from the outside what’s going on here? That's how it is with God's providence. God knows what everyone needs to cure their particular spiritual illness or to prepare for eternal life.

It seems cruel, but if you look at it, then perhaps the death of the baby was the best outcome of events. And God gives diseases, including serious ones, for a reason. Have you noticed how good and kind a sick person often becomes, and before his illness he was so arrogant that it was impossible to even talk to him. That is why in church you can, of course, ask God for health, and in order to quickly convert you or someone else to the faith, maybe God will decide to correct the illness. But perhaps God specifically gave the disease to correct the patient - then nothing. In a word, everything is the Will of God.

The Story of a Man Born Blind

The Bible also describes another incident that sheds light of understanding on the structure and essence of God’s providence. Jesus Christ passed through one of the villages:

And as he passed, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked Him: Rabbi! Who sinned, he or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered: neither he nor his parents sinned, but this was so that the works of God might be revealed in him (John 9:1-3).

Next, Jesus healed this man of blindness and thereby showed the people of this village and the disciples why this man had lived all the time. It turns out that God would show him a miracle of healing. That's why.

Amazing! A man was born blind only because, according to God’s providence, Jesus would pass through the village and heal this man, as a clear example to those living in this village.

Archpriest Vladimir Golovin talks about the action of God’s providence in human life:

What is fate? This is one of those questions that cannot be answered definitively. The existence of fate can neither be proven nor disproved with the help of material facts or arguments.

Because the phenomenon of fate relates to spiritual development, and everything related to spirituality can be seen or felt only with the heart, with spiritual vision.

Those who feel the divine spark, their higher self, at a certain stage of their spiritual development are faced with internal contradictions that can confuse and cause them to make erroneous judgments.

On the one hand, the heart speaks about the existence of the soul, higher goals, spiritual improvement, and on the other hand, the mind, the rational part of it, asks completely logical questions, the answers found to which are sometimes discouraging and bring confusion into the soul.

Fate in most cases is associated with a certain general line of human life, in which everything is predetermined, everything that should happen, both good and bad, will definitely come true. Even if a person wants to avoid certain events, he will not be able to do so.

Considering this, a completely logical question arises: “If fate really exists and cannot be changed, then what is the point in development?” After all, it turns out that no matter how hard you try, no matter how much you improve, nothing will change.

If you are destined to go through suffering or trials, you will not escape them. If you are meant to be someone, then you will be it, even if you don't want it. It turns out to be a paradox. The mind has driven itself into a dead end.

Paradox, mind trap

In a spiritual sense, a person who finds himself in such a mental trap begins to mark time. Being in a confused state and not finding a solution for himself, he makes conclusions that slow down his spiritual growth, and may even push him onto the path of involution.

If I cannot change anything, then, in fact, my choice in a given situation is unimportant, which means I do not bear any responsibility for my actions and my life.

Such reasoning can lead a person to lead a life in a range of two extremes:

1. Start living your life, go to great lengths, indulge your instinctive nature. After all, no matter what I do, everything happens according to fate’s plan.

Any of my actions cannot be wrong, I can do whatever I please, because I cannot go beyond what fate has destined for me.

And this, in turn, means that the embodiment of any thoughts and desires is following one’s destiny, since I cannot accidentally think or wish for something.

2. Live your life as a victim. In such a position, a person voluntarily deprives himself of spiritual strength and blocks his own will.

With such a worldview, life appears to a person mainly as fate, as a series of unfavorable events that cannot be changed.

In order to somehow alleviate your suffering, you have to accept your difficult fate in the hope that it will become a little easier in the future.

As you understand, these extremes have nothing to do with spiritual development. Spiritual development presupposes conscious choice and responsibility for one’s actions.

The ability to make decisions yourself and be responsible for your actions, to be the center of your life and not shift responsibility to others is an indicator of the strength and spiritual maturity of a person.

The paradox itself is not something that reflects reality. It can also be represented as a mental construct or thought form that contains a certain logic, a program like “if so, then only this way and no other way.”

This mental structure is quite rigid and inflexible; it does not allow broader thinking and limits a person’s consciousness. In essence, it holds the mind within its framework exactly as much as a person considers his judgments true and unshakable.

The properties of paradox are widely used in spiritual schools to expand the consciousness of students. When a master forces the student's mind into the trap of logic, there is a great opportunity to see his own limitations.

Independent resolution of the paradox is an indicator that the student was able to go beyond his limiting logic, expanded his consciousness and rose to another step in spiritual evolution.

This kind of trap cannot be avoided, the mind will paint itself into a corner from time to time, you just need to remember that this is your understanding of the situation and it is limited only by your life experiences and state of consciousness.

There is a higher spiritual order in which there are no contradictions, you just need to go beyond your mental limitations and look at the problem with a broader spiritual perspective.

In order to fully understand what fate is and how a person is connected to it, let us turn to authoritative sources that explain this phenomenon.

What is fate, definition in Sanskrit

In Sanskrit, fate is defined by the word karma, which in turn means:

  • any activity;
  • actions;
  • the law of cause and effect.

According to spiritual teachings about karma, a person's life is considered as a series of his actions. Moreover, every action he performs, no matter whether it is a thought, a desire or a specific act, is both a cause for future ones and a consequence for previous actions and events.

That is, every committed action gives rise to a chain of consequences, events, which in turn give rise to the following events. As you understand, good deeds activate favorable events, bad deeds bring a series of failures and shocks upon a person. There is a popular proverb on this topic that reflects the essence of the law of cause and effect: “What you sow is what you reap.”

Of course, such a question as the fate of a person cannot be considered only in one physical plane. Considering that man is a multidimensional being and manifests himself in many dimensions and planes that are beyond physical reality, his evolution and spiritual development does not end with physical death.

Therefore, karma is not limited to one physical life. The law of cause and effect is universal, and it works in all planes of human existence, regardless of whether a person is currently embodied on planet Earth or not.

Also, teachings about karma (fate) affect some aspects of human existence beyond the physical life and death of a person. Man, as a spiritual being, goes through a chain of incarnations in physical reality for his evolution.

At the moment of death (at the end of the next incarnation), the total of all good and bad deeds is summed up. Depending on the result obtained, a person’s future life is determined, that is, the fate that he must live, go through his lessons and outlive his karma.

In fact, how each person lives, what country he was born in, what character he has, what he does, what kind of parents he has, what diseases he is susceptible to, what kind of body he has and much more - all this is a consequence of previous incarnations, then is the destiny of man.

From the above two paragraphs one may get the impression that a person’s fate is a series of programmed events that cannot be changed.

This is not entirely true. It must be remembered that every action gives rise to a chain of events, and the seeds of these events can germinate both in the current life and in future incarnations.

The “cause and effect” pair are inextricable and clearly defined, and a person cannot break this connection, because no one has canceled the laws of the universe.

But a person has freedom of choice, free will, and this is his strength and the key to harmony and prosperity.

Spiritual teachings say that man is a powerful being who is given freedom of choice.

Thanks to this freedom, a person can draw enormous spiritual strength, or completely destroy himself, performing certain actions in accordance with his choice.

Therefore, spiritual teachers, knowing the truth, refuse to indulge the weaknesses of their students and call them to take responsibility for their actions and their lives. Every person, finding himself in any situation, has many options for what next step to take, he just needs to choose.

And accordingly, this choice will mean a specific action that includes a series of events, and the person begins to reap the results of his choice. That is, in fact, a person’s fate can change depending on his choice and the actions he commits.

A special case of the law of cause and effect

Simply put, if a person constantly drinks heavily, then obviously sooner or later his body will start to get sick, and most likely he will reap the results of his actions in the form of cirrhosis or liver cancer.

If we further examine this example, we can see that our hero’s problems do not end with deteriorating health. Let's assume he is married, has children and a job. Here's a quick summary of the consequences of choosing to drink alcohol:

  1. Degradation occurs, a person turns 180⁰ and goes down the ladder of spiritual evolution. A person's personality changes. Aggression, deception, hatred and self-humiliation completely subjugate a person’s consciousness.
  2. Family destruction. Scandals and quarrels gradually destroy the well-being of all family members. Ultimately, all loved ones begin to suffer. The children hate the father, the wife hates the husband.
  3. Most likely, there is a dismissal from work or a deterioration in relations with superiors and colleagues.
  4. Losing friends. Divorce. Living alone with nothing.

Here is an approximate scenario of events that happens to alcoholics. This begs a number of questions:

  • Who is to blame in this person’s life that everything turned out this way, himself, fate, fate, or someone or something else?
  • Was it possible for a person to change his life if he knew in advance what his choice to abuse alcohol would lead to?
  • Is this person a victim of circumstances, or is he completely responsible for his decisions and actions?
  • What fate is in store for this person, what does he have to understand, and what lessons does he need to learn in his future life?

This example is not so simple and is, unfortunately, a common life drama.

If a person took responsibility for his actions and made the choice not to drink every time he wanted to drink, then he would be able to change his destiny in his current life. And it is true. There are many life examples of this, when a person stopped drinking and his life improved.

This is the law of cause and effect. There are no victims of circumstances, each of us is responsible for what happens in his life, how happy or unhappy he is.

In this sense, the formula for happiness is very simple: give up actions that destroy you, your life and make choices towards actions that bring you harmony and well-being.

What to do if you know you need to change, but you can’t do it

Not everything is so simple, many people can feel the wrongness of their actions and realize the negative consequences of their choices. But for certain reasons they cannot refuse the wrong choice and step on the same rake again and again, getting burned over and over again.

This state of affairs makes a person suffer even more. But there are also good points in this. If a person has already begun to understand that he is doing something wrong and it needs to be changed, if the problem is visible, then it can be corrected.

A person is a multidimensional being, which consists not only of a physical body, but also has consciousness, mind, energy bodies, and so on. And in order to change something in your life, you need to take into account the principle of multidimensionality and interconnection.

If a person wants to quit drinking, smoking, taking drugs, giving up junk food, restoring health, finding Good work, start a family and the like, he will have to dive deep into his space and start looking for answers and working with them.

It will be necessary to change bad habits, sort out your thoughts, realize false desires and goals, face your fears, remove energy blocks and much more.

For a positive result, you need to work in at least four planes:

As you understand, in the first stages it is almost impossible to carry out such work on your own. This requires help from outside, the help of a competent person.

In evolutionary terms, everything in our lives is organized intelligently, and there are people who are destined to provide such help.

This kind of help and support can be provided to you by:

  • Your parents, relatives, friends (provided that they have experience and positive results).
  • A spiritual guide you trust and feel connected to.
  • A person who knows how to properly provide psychological assistance.
  • Coach (personal trainer who will guide you to a certain result and achieve specific goals).

Of course, in order to do the right things, you must also have willpower, wisdom, and be able to see the right choice, and for this you need to know certain spiritual laws and follow them.

But who said it was difficult or impossible? You just need to want to make a choice and learn these laws, and then make a choice again and begin to apply them in your life.

Is there destiny or is it all an illusion of human perception?

Well, whether there is a destiny or not, a person must answer this question for himself. Because it is impossible to prove or disprove something that does not agree with the worldview. Only the heart will tell you whether it is true or false.

If the answer is yes – “fate exists, and it can be changed” – then, apparently, a person is ready to become the master of his life and accept responsibility for his actions, thoughts, desires.

If the answer is no, this is also a choice for which you will have to bear responsibility.

For those who believe that a person has a destiny and they are not happy with their life, the question becomes relevant:

Is it possible to change your destiny and how to do it?

Yes and no. Some of it can be changed, some of it can’t. Because in addition to fate, there is also purpose.

  • Why is it partially yes and no?
  • What is the difference between fate and destiny?

We will talk about this in the next article.

Harmony and prosperity to you!

Great Patriotic War even after many decades remains the greatest blow for the whole world. What a tragedy this is for the fighting Soviet people, who lost the most people in this bloody battle! The lives of many (both military and civilian) were ruined. Sholokhov's story “The Fate of Man” truthfully depicts these sufferings, not of an individual person, but of the entire people who stood up to defend their Motherland.

The story “The Fate of a Man” is based on real events: M.A. Sholokhov met a man who told him his tragic biography. This story was almost a ready-made plot, but did not immediately turn into a literary work. The writer nurtured his idea for 10 years, but put it on paper in just a few days. And he dedicated it to E. Levitskaya, who helped him publish the main novel of his life, “Quiet Don.”

The story was published in the Pravda newspaper on the eve of the new year, 1957. And soon it was read on All-Union Radio and heard throughout the country. Listeners and readers were shocked by the power and truthfulness of this work, and it gained well-deserved popularity. In literary terms, this book opened up a new way for writers to explore the theme of war - through the fate of a little man.

The essence of the story

The author accidentally meets the main character Andrei Sokolov and his son Vanyushka. During the forced delay at the crossing, the men started talking, and a casual acquaintance told the writer his story. This is what he told him.

Before the war, Andrei lived like everyone else: wife, children, household, work. But then thunder struck, and the hero went to the front, where he served as a driver. One fateful day, Sokolov’s car came under fire and he was shell-shocked. So he was captured.

A group of prisoners was brought to the church for the night, many incidents happened that night: the shooting of a believer who could not desecrate the church (they didn’t even let him out “until the wind”), and with him several people who accidentally fell under machine gun fire, help from a doctor to Sokolov and others wounded. Also, the main character had to strangle another prisoner, since he turned out to be a traitor and was going to hand over the commissioner. Even during the next transfer to the concentration camp, Andrei tried to escape, but was caught by dogs, who stripped him of his last clothes and bit him so much that “the skin and meat flew into shreds.”

Then the concentration camp: inhuman work, almost starvation, beatings, humiliation - that’s what Sokolov had to endure. “They need four cubic meters of production, but for the grave of each of us, one cubic meter through the eyes is enough!” - Andrei said imprudently. And for this he appeared before Lagerführer Müller. They wanted to shoot the main character, but he overcame his fear, bravely drank three glasses of schnapps to his death, for which he earned respect, a loaf of bread and a piece of lard.

Towards the end of hostilities, Sokolov was appointed driver. And finally, an opportunity arose to escape, and even together with the engineer whom the hero was driving. Before the joy of salvation had time to subside, grief arrived: he learned about the death of his family (a shell hit the house), and all this time he lived only in the hope of a meeting. One son survived. Anatoly also defended his homeland, and Sokolov and he simultaneously approached Berlin from different directions. But right on the day of victory, the last hope was killed. Andrey was left all alone.

Subjects

The main theme of the story is a man at war. These tragic events are an indicator personal qualities: in extreme situations, those character traits that are usually hidden are revealed, it is clear who is who in reality. Before the war, Andrei Sokolov was not particularly different; he was like everyone else. But in battle, having survived captivity and constant danger to life, he proved himself. His truly heroic qualities were revealed: patriotism, courage, perseverance, will. On the other hand, a prisoner like Sokolov, probably also no different in ordinary peaceful life, was going to betray his commissar in order to curry favor with the enemy. Thus, the theme of moral choice is also reflected in the work.

Also M.A. Sholokhov touches on the topic of willpower. The war took away from the main character not only his health and strength, but also his entire family. He has no home, how can he continue to live, what to do next, how to find meaning? This question has interested hundreds of thousands of people who have experienced similar losses. And for Sokolov, caring for the boy Vanyushka, who was also left without a home and family, became a new meaning. And for his sake, for the sake of the future of his country, you need to live on. Here is the disclosure of the theme of the search for the meaning of life - a real person finds it in love and hope for the future.

Issues

  1. The problem of choice occupies an important place in the story. Every person faces a choice every day. But not everyone has to choose on pain of death, knowing that your fate depends on this decision. So, Andrei had to decide: to betray or remain faithful to the oath, to bend under the blows of the enemy or to fight. Sokolov was able to remain a worthy person and citizen because he determined his priorities, guided by honor and morality, and not by the instinct of self-preservation, fear or meanness.
  2. The whole fate of the hero, in his life trials, reflects the problem of the defenselessness of the common man in the face of war. Little depends on him; circumstances are falling on him, from which he is trying to get out at least alive. And if Andrei was able to save himself, then his family was not. And he feels guilty about it, even though he isn't.
  3. The problem of cowardice is realized in the work through secondary characters. The image of a traitor who, for the sake of immediate gain, is ready to sacrifice the life of a fellow soldier, becomes a counterweight to the image of the brave and strong-willed Sokolov. And there were such people in the war, says the author, but there were fewer of them, that’s the only reason we won.
  4. The tragedy of war. Numerous losses were suffered not only by the military units, but also by civilians who could not defend themselves in any way.
  5. Characteristics of the main characters

    1. Andrei Sokolov is an ordinary person, one of many who had to leave their peaceful existence in order to defend their homeland. He exchanges a simple and happy life for the dangers of war, without even imagining how he can remain on the sidelines. In extreme circumstances, he maintains spiritual nobility, shows willpower and perseverance. Under the blows of fate, he managed not to break. And find a new meaning in life, which reveals his kindness and responsiveness, because he sheltered an orphan.
    2. Vanyushka is a lonely boy who has to spend the night wherever he can. His mother was killed during the evacuation, his father at the front. Tattered, dusty, covered in watermelon juice - this is how he appeared before Sokolov. And Andrei could not leave the child, he introduced himself as his father, giving both himself and him a chance for a further normal life.
    3. What is the meaning of the work?

One of the main ideas of the story is the need to take into account the lessons of the war. The example of Andrei Sokolov shows not what war can do to a person, but what it can do to all of humanity. Prisoners tortured in concentration camps, orphaned children, destroyed families, scorched fields - this should never be repeated, and therefore should not be forgotten.

No less important is the idea that in any, even the most terrible situation, one must remain human and not become like an animal that, out of fear, acts only on the basis of instincts. Survival is the main thing for anyone, but if this comes at the cost of betraying oneself, one’s comrades, one’s Motherland, then the surviving soldier is no longer a person, he is not worthy of this title. Sokolov did not betray his ideals, did not break, although he went through something that is difficult for a modern reader to even imagine.

      Genre

A short story is a short literary genre that reveals one storyline and several characters. “The Fate of Man” refers specifically to him.

However, if you take a closer look at the composition of the work, you can clarify the general definition, because this is a story within a story. First, the story is narrated by the author, who, by the will of fate, met and talked with his character. Andrey Sokolov himself describes his difficult life, first-person narration allows readers to better understand the hero’s feelings and understand him. The author's remarks are introduced to characterize the hero from the outside (“eyes, as if sprinkled with ashes,” “I didn’t see a single tear in his seemingly dead, extinct eyes... only his large, limply lowered hands trembled slightly, his chin trembled, his hard lips trembled”) and show how deeply this strong man suffers.

      What values does Sholokhov promote?

The main value for the author (and for readers) is peace. Peace between states, peace in society, peace in the human soul. The war destroyed the happy life of Andrei Sokolov, as well as many people. The echo of the war still does not subside, so its lessons should not be forgotten (although this event has often recently been overestimated for political purposes that are far from the ideals of humanism).

Also, the writer does not forget about the eternal values of the individual: nobility, courage, will, desire to help. The time of knights and noble dignity has long passed, but true nobility does not depend on origin, it is in the soul, expressed in its ability to show mercy and empathy, even if the world around it is collapsing. This story is a great lesson in courage and morality for modern readers.

Interesting? Save it on your wall!

The founder of the innovative school of energy-informational psychology, doctor, energy therapist Natalya Kalma tells.

What does a person's fate depend on?

What is fate? Fate is a set of events occurring in a person’s life. Destiny is our past, present and future. What determines the line of human destiny? There are different points of view on this matter. Some people believe that a person’s fate is determined from birth, and that "It is written in the generation, so it will be". Some people believe that a person creates his own destiny. The most interesting thing is that when it comes to personal life, a person often hopes for a happy occasion. And here many people believe in fate, which is written “from above.” But in the financial sphere, a person most often relies on his own strength and believes that the events he needs will take place precisely thanks to his efforts. Which of the two points of view is correct? Let's figure it out.

Each person in his own way is an energy-informational being. That is, each person consists of a certain amount of energy and all human energy carries various information, consisting of events lived by a person and emotional reactions to these events. All this together is called a person’s personal life experience. And all this personal life experience is formed around a person in his own biofield structure, which functionally carries three components: the function to perceive/give, the function to accumulate and the function to realize.

A person’s personal energy determines not only his internal state, but also his external life. For a person, constantly interacting with space, emits this energy through his biofield, and space also reacts accordingly, acting on the principle of similarity. A very simple principle works here: "What goes around comes around".

A person interacts with the surrounding space constantly, and this happens 24 hours a day. A person is absolutely not closed from the surrounding space. All energy/information that enters the human biofield is divided into two types - positive and negative.

Finding out what energy is emitted by a person at a given specific moment and what the consequences will be, accordingly, is actually very difficult, because a person’s interaction with space occurs not only consciously, but also unconsciously. Any energy manifests itself through human emotions. And here, it would seem, everything is very simple. If these emotions are positive, then the energy is also positive. However, the problem is that a person is not aware of all the emotions he emits. Most of them come from a person into space subconsciously, so it is almost impossible to see what kind of energy, positive or negative, a person emits at a given specific moment 100%.

Why does this happen?

And this happens due to the fact that most of the energy emitted by a person comes from his Subconscious Field, which is one of the components of his biofield structure. The Human Subconscious Field stores energy/information that a person is not aware of or does not remember. The energy-information that a person remembers is stored in other energy fields - in particular in the Field of Emotions and the Field of Thought.

Life circumstances very much depend on what energies a person receives from the External Environment according to the “magnet” principle, since everything that he emits attracts similar energies from Space. And since a person does not energetically see the process of his interaction with space, he cannot be protected at all from the penetration of negative energy into his biofield. Thus, various unfavorable events are formed in his life, the causes of which are impossible to predict and understand. Due to the accumulation and storage of negative energy in a person’s biofield, various problems, obstacles, and difficulties occur in his life that must be solved and overcome all the time. These difficulties and problems also manifest themselves as health problems, internal emotional problems, financial problems, as well as problems in personal life related to relationships with people.

In the same way, favorable events occur. If a person emits positive energy into Space, then exactly the same energy is attracted from space.

Each person’s life line develops in a certain way. And it depends directly on what energies a person was born with. A person is not born as a white and empty leaf. Already in the first years of his life, a child has a certain energy and this greatly influences his character, his abilities, his health - physical and emotional, and external conditions are only a consequence, the cause of which is those starting energy conditions from which a person begins his life.

According to the type of energy, there are 4 main psychotypes of people:

  1. "Chronic Sufferers": “Circumstances are against me, I don’t have the strength, I want to, but I can’t”.
  2. "Dreamers": “You don’t need to wish for much—accept what you have.”
  3. "Workers": “If I try hard and work hard, then everything should work out for me.”.
  4. "Successful": "I can, everything is in my hands".

I will describe in general terms the characteristics of each psychotype.

Distinctive characteristic of the "Chronic Sufferer" is a tendency to blame everyone but oneself for one’s troubles and a feeling of self-pity. They do this forcedly, due to their condition, in many cases without even understanding it, and even if they do understand and again try to change something, they almost never succeed. Since no one knows what the real situation of the sufferer is regarding the state of his energy, they do not understand him. They don’t understand why such a person always finds some reason not to do anything. That is, it turns out to be a paradox: on the one hand, he talks about his problems, but on the other hand, he does nothing at all to solve them. And the people who are trying to help him cannot understand what is happening. It seems that there is a way out, but he doesn’t see it. The “Chronic Sufferer” is in a certain sense “fixated” on his suffering and is not inclined to listen to anyone. Such people have a tendency to show aggression from birth, and if they fall into a chain of unfavorable events, then their negative emotionality can manifest itself in its entirety.

The fate of such a person consists of a large number of unfavorable events, difficulties and obstacles. And if such a person is surrounded by people of a different psychotype, then in relation to them he often acts as an “energy vampire.”

A characteristic feature of the "Dreamer" is the tendency to deceive oneself, to simply hope for the best in situations where something needs to be radically changed, the tendency to wishful thinking, to believe that the best is still ahead, etc. “Dreamers”, in general, are determined to perceive life as it is, without changing anything about it. Due to his energy, the “Dreamer” often cannot take responsibility for any serious decisions aimed at changing his life. They do not have a strong protest, like chronic sufferers, so the lives of such people, for the most part, proceed smoothly and with very little changes, except for those cases when the “Dreamer” gets into troubles and troubles, he overcomes them with great difficulty, because at such moments he is forced to do more than what he is capable of, and when, finally, he manages to get out of these circumstances, he immediately calms down, tries to return to the old way of life, move slowly and not change anything.

"Worker", unlike the two previous psychotypes, due to his energy, he is able to achieve quite large and serious goals in his life. However, such a person always has fear; as soon as he gives up, his life will “stop.” Therefore, he cannot afford to rest and relax. Such a person relies only on his own strengths; he tries to do everything himself and rely only on himself. When a “hard worker” acts, all his attention and energy are directed to working hard to achieve his goals. Therefore, he simply has no time to enjoy life. He is constantly under emotional and physical stress. But there are often times when he becomes weak, and this can happen even during those periods when everything in his external life is going quite smoothly; he literally feels that he has no strength, neither physical nor emotional. At such moments, he may feel depressed, since he perceives such periods not as necessary rest, but as a forced stop. He rests physically, but remains under great stress emotionally. At such moments in his life, he very much resembles a “chronic sufferer.” But unlike the “chronic sufferer,” who is determined in advance that nothing will work out for him anyway and blames others for his troubles, the “hard worker” always cherishes hope and strives to do something to change the situation. A characteristic feature of the “hard worker,” in contrast to the “sufferer,” is the tendency not to blame anyone, but to look for a way out of the current situation. He is constantly in a hurry, because he cannot simply relax and do nothing. Lack of strength and the desire to find a way out causes a strong imbalance. Therefore, his life is very unbalanced and consists of “ups” and “downs”. Many do not recover after such “falls” and remain sick and exhausted with a big question in themselves: "What should we do?"

A “successful person” is a person who has a fairly high level of energy and therefore he almost always has the confidence that he is capable of much and can achieve a lot. Such a person is emotionally very harmonious, so he believes that it is enough to believe in yourself and then everything will work out. A successful person, due to his energy, is able to rely on his own strength, knows when to rest and when to work, and therefore can control the process of events in his life to a greater extent. His intuition is quite well developed, so he can use almost every event as an opportunity. Therefore, other psychotypes often perceive such people as lucky people. The fate of such a person is, in general, very stable and his positive attitude in life allows him to successfully overcome the difficulties that arise along his way.

As I already wrote above, every person is already born with a certain level of energy, which subsequently determines his destiny. Only if the “Chronic Sufferer” is completely unable to manage his life, the “Dreamer” and the “Worker” do this to a small extent, then “ successful person“There is every opportunity to influence the course of events.

So it turns out that only a “Successful person” can control fate. And the first three psychotypes are left to be more or less content with what they have.

But... although a person is born with a certain psychotype, this is not a death sentence.

You have now read about people’s psychotypes and have probably already tried to determine your own. Take your time, there are moments of good luck in everyone's life. And while luck is favorable, then everything in a person’s life is going quite well and he cannot fully determine his psychotype. Even the “Chronic Sufferer” is happier during periods of good luck, because at such moments everything happens on its own and without effort. However, luck can turn away from a person at any unexpected moment, and then you can confidently determine your own psychotype.

“We do not choose the country where we will be born, nor the people in which we will be born, nor the time in which we will be born, but we choose one thing: to be human or non-human.”
Patriarch Pavel of Serbia (1914-2009).

Fate– an ambiguous term meaning:

1. purpose (ideal);
a) heavenly: full (required by a person’s calling) revelation of traits, life in communion with and in Him;
b) earthly: fulfillment of earthly destiny; implementation in earthly life of the powers given by God and in;

2. private destiny (for example, Saul’s destiny was to serve God and the people as a king, but he did not fulfill it; David was also intended for the same role, and he fulfilled it);

3. life path;

4. coincidence of circumstances (happens by);

5. fate (inevitability is a concept characteristic of some forms; see also:).

Faith in blind fate, like fate, in exchange for communication with the living, personal God contradicts what Christianity is based on. The saint expressed himself even more clearly: The doctrine of fate (fate) was sown by the devil.

“Oh, the depth of wealth and wisdom and knowledge of God! How incomprehensible are His destinies and unsearchable His ways!” ().

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.

The doctrine of fate in non-Christian religions

Against the background of the Orthodox concept of fate as the fulfillment of divine destiny, the fate of a person in other religions looks faded. In modern times, everyone born of Adam faces death. Even followers and executors of the law of Moses and the instructions of the Torah after death go to Sheol - a place devoid of God. The fate of the modern Jew is bitter: if the Babylonian captivity lasted 70 years, then the modern dispersion has lasted for two millennia. There is no temple - not even a second one. The most important part of the Law of Moses is not fulfilled: without the temple it is impossible to offer sacrifices for sins. God punishes His people for them by scattering them all over the world. All Jews are wanderers. Their earthly fate is the fate of eternally persecuted wanderers, from whom God has turned His face. And since the sacrifice is not completed and the sin of the people continues to provoke the wrath of God, their posthumous fate is to remain in Sheol. Even the coming of the Jewish Messiah will not be able to help the dead, because... Judaism denies the resurrection of the dead. In some ways this is similar to Marxism: in order for distant descendants to be able to satisfy any of their whims without any labor (this is what the slogan “to each according to his needs, from each according to his abilities” means), others must starve, die and live in poverty without any hope of getting into communist paradise.

Look forward - with hope, back - with thanksgiving, up - with prayer, down - with repentance, inward - with attention! And all around - with love!

It would be better for us to replace the dark word “fate” with a clear and definite expression - God’s providence.
